GTA The Trilogy Remaster Developers Show Gameplay of New Kaiju Game, Releasing in August
Specialists from Grove Street Games studio will soon return with the BeastLink project.
Grove Street Games studio recently reminded players about BeastLink again. The new title is positioned as a massive multiplayer kaiju game where humans, vehicles, and giant monsters "clash in urban locations of unprecedented scale."
According to the developers, in BeastLink, players will be able to destroy absolutely everything they see. They promise a completely new gameplay experience – you can play as both a human and a monster:
Fight your way through war-torn megacities, accumulate precious serum, and use it to establish a "Link" with monsters, each possessing unique abilities and combat styles. Play as both human and beast in various modes – alone or with other players.
Grove Street Games noted that as a human, players can use various vehicles – cars, tanks, aircraft – to "sow chaos and destroy everything around." The game maps are designed for matches with up to 32 players and several active monsters.
You can add BeastLink to your Steam wishlist via this link. The release is scheduled for August 18 of this year. The developers expect the game to be in "early access" for approximately one year, but the timeline may change.
