Baldur's Gate 3 Modder Restores Daisy and Cut Early Access Scenes

An enthusiast decided to bring several scenes back into the game.

The massive cRPG Baldur's Gate 3 wasn't built in a day. During the development and early access phase of the game, some elements were reworked, and Larian Studios ultimately abandoned some ideas. However, traces remained in the game files, and enthusiasts are now restoring such content.

Recently, HyperspaceTowel introduced a modification that brings back several cut scenes with "Daisy" into Baldur's Gate 3 – a character who didn't make it to the full release. This is what the Dream Visitor is called, an NPC who appears in the protagonist's dreams. However, Larian Studios decided to use a different concept: they introduced the Guardian, who made it to the release version of the game.

Modder HyperspaceTowel published several examples of scenes with voice acting. In total, players will have access to four dream scenes featuring Daisy. The character tries to make the player fall in love with them and keep them in a world of illusions of a "happy life."
