New Loot Boxes with Warhammer Heroes Miniatures for Age of Sigmar Unveiled

This year, fans of the Warhammer Age of Sigmar tabletop game will be able to purchase surprise boxes from the Warhammer Heroes series. These will allow them to acquire seven character miniatures from the Cities of Sigmar.

This year, Games Workshop's Warhammer Heroes collectible miniature series, where each figure is sold in a sealed surprise box (a "blind buy" format), has decided to visit the Cities of Sigmar.

More precisely, each "loot box" contains one of seven different miniatures for the Warhammer Age of Sigmar tabletop game. These miniatures can be assembled without glue or tools, making them ideal for beginners. They are cast from red plastic, so they can be painted in any desired colors.

Arch-Knight Kenzo, nicknamed Drake-Blade, is joined by Standard Bearer Brigson, Hunter Kol Durnan, Forge Priest Brother Belias, Pyrocaster Ignus Sharn, and Marksman Brenwick. There is also a mysterious seventh character whose miniature remains a secret for now.

You can use the "Path to Glory" rules from the "Cities of Sigmar" battletome to bring these heroes to the gaming table. Each display contains eight surprise boxes, but purchasing a full display of eight does not guarantee obtaining all seven different miniatures.

The new Warhammer Heroes will be available at select retailers later in 2026.
