Retroid announced that shipments of the Pocket Nova handheld consoles have officially begun. It seems the team plans to fulfill all pre-orders within three weeks, as a separate production line was launched for this new product.
Shipping started with the black model. Colors will change every two days depending on the queue. The color order is as follows: black, 16-bit, crystal, GameCube, ice blue, transparent purple, watermelon.
Those who pre-order the device before August 1st through the official website still have the opportunity to receive the following bonuses: an ergonomically shaped interchangeable panel and a screen protector.
Retroid also reported that Qualcomm is signaling a possible future price increase for its chips. This means another industry-wide price hike. Retroid stated that they will make every effort to maintain a stable price for the Pocket Nova, but gamers have previously seen the company raise prices on most of its products.

The Pocket Nova with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage currently costs $229 (17,863 rubles, colors – black, 16-bit, GameCube style), while variants with crystal, watermelon, transparent purple, or ice blue finishes are $234 (18,253 rubles).
The version with 12 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage in “black,” “16-bit,” or “GameCube” colors costs $269 (20,983 rubles), and variants with crystal, watermelon, transparent purple, or ice blue finishes are $274 (21,373 rubles).
