Sauron vs. Balrog: Prime Video Showcases Monsters of "The Rings of Power" Season Three

The creators of the series demonstrated orcs, Mûmakil, winged Nazgûl creatures, and showed the battle of the Dark Lord with the legendary demon.

Prime Video has released a video about the creation of monsters for the third season of "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" series. Previously, this material was only shown to San Diego Comic-Con attendees, but now it is available on YouTube.

The creators demonstrated orcs, Mûmakil, winged Nazgûl creatures, and other inhabitants of Middle-earth. The main star of the video was the Balrog, which received an updated design and the voice of Simon Pegg. The video features concept art of the demon and fragments of its battle with Sauron.

The third season of "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" series premieres on November 11, 2026, on Prime Video with four episodes at once. The continuation's action will move five years forward – to the height of the war with Sauron, who is on the verge of creating the One Ring.
