The original game disappeared from digital stores in 2019 due to technical issues.

Publisher F5 Games has released the action roguelike House of the Lost: Revived on iOS and Android. The original House of the Lost was released in 2013 exclusively for Apple devices and became one of the first representatives of the genre on touchscreens. In 2019, the game was removed from the App Store due to technical issues, and now, seven years later, it has returned in an updated form.

The developers have improved the graphics and revamped the controls. By default, shooting is now tied to the direction of movement, but if desired, you can enable the classic control scheme reminiscent of NES games.

In terms of gameplay, it's a mix of The Binding of Isaac and classic The Legend of Zelda, featuring procedural room generation, traps, and weapon crafting from found items. The story follows the protagonist who ventures into a cursed mansion with a slingshot to rescue his missing sister. The castle is divided into four biomes with their own monsters, secrets, and final bosses.

House of the Lost: Revived is distributed under a "try before you buy" model. The first two levels and one boss are available for free, and the full version costs 299 rubles.
