THQ Nordic has released Gothic Classic on PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series for the first time. Gothic II will be released on September 29, and Gothic III on November 24.

THQ Nordic has released Gothic Classic on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. For the first time, the RPG is officially available on modern consoles.

Players will take on the role of the Nameless Hero, who finds himself in the Colony of Khorinis. The project offers over 50 hours of gameplay, a leveling system, battles using melee and ranged weapons, magic, free world exploration, and lively NPCs who react to the hero's actions.

One of Gothic's main features remains the choice of one of three warring factions. Each offers its own storyline, quests, and perspective on unfolding events. The non-linear structure became one of the reasons for the game's cult status.

THQ Nordic is not stopping there. On September 29, 2026, Gothic II Complete Classic will be released on consoles, followed by Gothic III Classic on November 24. By the end of the year, the entire classic trilogy will be available on PlayStation and Xbox.
