Robert Downey Jr. shared his first impressions of the film "Avengers: Doctor Doom." During a joint interview with the cast for Entertainment Weekly, the actor playing Victor von Doom was asked if he had already seen the entire film. The actor did not reveal plot details but gave the crossover an extremely high rating:

"I have access to inside information, and the film turned out to be absolutely fantastic."

David Harbour, who returned to the role of Red Guardian, was surprised that Downey Jr. had already seen the film and asked if it surpassed the scale of the excerpts shown during the Marvel Studios presentation at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. In response, the actor hinted that viewers had only seen a small part of what the creators had prepared:

"Imagine everything shown, only even bigger. I'll tell you the details separately. I think we can still redeem ourselves."

Downey Jr. likely hinted at the mixed reactions from viewers and critics to some recent Marvel Studios projects. However, he did not specify whether he watched the final version of the film or a rough cut.

Paul Rudd also called the new "Avengers" an unusual project for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to the actor, the scale of the film was already felt during the script reading and on set:

"The film feels completely different. You think, 'I haven't seen anything like this before.' I can't wait to see it myself, because the scale was felt both during the script reading and on set. Everything looked very fresh."

"Avengers: Doctor Doom" will open the final chapter of the Multiverse Saga, which will conclude with the film "Avengers: Secret Wars." The premiere of the film will take place on December 18, 2026.
