A mysterious ship approaches Fenris, and Bjorn the Fell-Handed, the legendary Space Wolves dreadnought from the Warhammer 40,000 universe, considered the oldest living loyal Space Marine, awakens to meet it in Justin D. Hill's new novel.
In this story, a ghost ship carrying an ancient enemy sets course for Bjorn's homeworld. As heretics from the Death Guard prepare to unleash plague and poisons upon Fenris, the ancient warrior rises to defend it. The novel “Bjorn: The Fell-Handed” will first be released as a limited edition. It will be signed by the author and feature a beautiful full-size cover depicting the dreadnought's sarcophagus, blue and silver foil elements, colored edges, and a black ribbon bookmark.
Bjorn was present when Leman Russ left the Space Wolves. He spent over 8,000 years in his sarcophagus, entering and exiting stasis sleep whenever his unparalleled combat experience was required. Although he was rarely awakened by the time of the Indomitus Crusade, Bjorn's knowledge and skill surpass those of any other dreadnought, and few in the Imperium would not heed his wise counsel.
The book will later also be released in a regular hardcover edition with art of the Fell-Handed in battle. Among other things, it was announced that Steve Parker's novel “Deathwatch” will receive its own special edition.
The aforementioned editions of “Bjorn the Fell-Handed” and “Deathwatch” will soon be available for pre-order.
