The animated film "Angry Birds 3 in the Movie" will have a runtime of 1 hour and 36 minutes (96 minutes), making it the shortest film in the trilogy. For comparison, "The Angry Birds Movie" (2016) and "The Angry Birds Movie 2" (2019) each ran for 97 minutes.
The plot of the third film will jump several years into the future. The main character, Red, and his beloved Silver are now raising three children. According to the official synopsis, family life will become Red's most difficult challenge. His own offspring will cause him the main problems: his eldest son, Glider, openly compares his father to more popular idols, his daughter June is going through a teenage rebellion and avoids her parents, and the youngest chick, Ollie, constantly causes chaos at home. At some point, the feathered family will still have to put aside their family worries to save the world again.
Jason Sudeikis (Red), Josh Gad (Chuck), Danny McBride (Bomb), and Rachel Bloom (Silver) returned to voice the key characters. Red's three children are voiced by Walker Scobell ("Percy Jackson and the Olympians"), Emma Myers ("Wednesday"), and Psalm West. The star-studded cast also includes Lily James, Kiki Palmer, and popular video blogger MrBeast.
The premiere of the animated film "Angry Birds 3 in the Movie" will take place on December 23, 2026.
