Cold Symmetry studio and Playstack publishing house announced the launch of open beta testing for Mortal Shell II on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Previously, the test version of the game was only available to Steam users, and now console owners can also get acquainted with it.
The console beta fully replicates the content of the PC version. Players have access to the first three hours of gameplay, including the prologue and the initial explorable open-world area. Users will be able to take on the role of the Harbinger, possess the bodies of fallen warriors, explore dungeons, fight mini-bosses, and progress towards the first story boss. Part of the achieved progress can be used after the full version of the game is released.
The developers have also prepared a bonus for testing participants. Everyone who spends at least 30 minutes in the console beta will receive the “Flayed Harbinger,” which can be activated in the full version of Mortal Shell II after its release.
