The Steam Machine went on sale on June 29, 2026, priced at $1,049 for the model with 512 gigabytes of memory onboard.
It's a compact cubic mini-PC measuring approximately 156 × 152 × 162 mm and weighing 2.6 kg with an internal power supply, running on SteamOS 3. It is based on a custom AMD Zen 4 processor (6 cores/12 threads, up to 4.8 GHz, 30W TDP), graphics are handled by AMD RDNA 3 (28 Compute Units, up to 2.45 GHz, 110W TDP, 8 GB GDDR6), 16 GB DDR5 memory, a 512 GB or 2 TB NVMe SSD (with replacement capability and a microSD slot). The device supports image output up to 4K@120–240 Hz (HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 with HDR and FreeSync), is equipped with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Gigabit Ethernet, USB-A/C ports, and a built-in adapter for the Steam Controller.
