Developers are preparing a lot of new content.

The creators of the survival sandbox game Terraria recently presented their July development diary. The Re-Logic studio stated that work on update 1.4.5.7 "is finally nearing completion." They expect the update to be finished "soon" — after which localization issues will need to be resolved, and then the "final" update will be sent for review. A simultaneous release is planned for PC, consoles, and mobile devices.

The developers addressed the players — work on balancing will continue:

Of course, we expect to receive a lot more feedback regarding balance changes (it's impossible to achieve perfect balance on the first try) — we plan to take everything into account and include additional adjustments based on this feedback in the next update (currently planned as "Crossplay Phase One"). This update has taken a long time, and we look forward to the moment you get it.

The developers also published a teaser-spoiler for update 1.4.5.7 — the "Chlorophyte Claymore" was in the spotlight.

In August, the creators of Terraria will meet with colleagues from DR Studios to collaborate on planning and a roadmap "to chart a course for future Terraria updates."

The release date for Terraria update 1.4.5.7 has not yet been announced. The July developer diary is available at the following link.
