Cooper Hoffman, star of "The Long Walk," commented on rumors that Marvel Studios is considering him for the role of Cyclops in the new "X-Men" adaptation. The actor stated that he is not involved in the project and does not understand where this information came from:
"No, it won't be me. But I love 'X-Men.' Of course, I'd be interested. Such rumors spread quickly. Fans don't decide anything, but I wish their opinions were taken into account. I've loved 'X-Men' since childhood. It would be a huge honor for me."
The new "X-Men" will be directed by Jake Schreier, who helmed "Thunderbolts*". The project is expected to start a new mutant story after the conclusion of the Multiverse Saga. The film is anticipated to be released in 2028, but Marvel Studios has not yet announced a premiere date.
