Geniesoft studio is preparing a mobile version of the roguelike Midnight Study, which combines card deck building with ricochet physics. The events unfold in Yeoncheon Girls' School, where four students perform a forbidden ritual and accidentally release sealed spirits, after which familiar classrooms and corridors turn into a labyrinth filled with supernatural threats.
The combat system is called "physical ricochet deck." The player needs to draw a bow, choose the trajectory of the shot, and release the arrow. Bouncing off walls and other obstacles, it hits talismans and activates their effects. Therefore, to win, it will be necessary not only to assemble an effective deck but also to accurately calculate each shot.
In total, the developers promise more than 100 talismans and 80 relics, allowing for the creation of various ability combinations. Each of the four schoolgirls has her own fighting style, so the choice of heroine will also affect the playthrough.
The original Midnight Study was released on PC in 2025. The mobile version will retain the main mechanics and will be distributed as a premium project for $4.99. A demo version is already available in Google Play in some regions, and pre-registration has started in the App Store.
Midnight Study will be released on November 9, 2026.
