New Career Mode in EA Sports FC 27 Revealed - with Reworked Transfers, Challenges, and Dynamic OVR Rating
The creators of EA Sports FC 27 continue to reveal details about the project. Electronic Arts has published a new video in which the developers discuss the new version of Career Mode.
In this installment of the franchise, all aspects of the transfer mechanics have been reworked. Thanks to a partnership with the Transfer Room platform, the game will feature "maximally realistic" player valuations:
[in this interface] negotiations now take place, and many new ways to close a deal are available. Experiment with buyout clauses, salary reductions upon relegation, or bonuses for participating in competitions — everything you might see in real contract negotiations. You will also notice more realistic player salary demands, depending on what stage of their career they are in. Players in their prime will often seek a large contract, while players on either side of their peak may be willing to negotiate.
Rivalries and club partnerships now influence where players transfer. For example, players will rarely see situations where footballers move between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, but they will see more deals between clubs with a good transfer history.
The OVR (Overall) rating will be dynamic. In FC 27, players will have a base overall rating and a dynamic range that shows how much this rating can go up or down from match to match:
Young players with potential have a wider dynamic OVR range, allowing your in-form young players to break into the first team before they reach their full potential. And as the OVR fluctuates, their individual attributes will also change, reflecting their current form. Form, morale, physical readiness, and playing time all affect a player's dynamic OVR.
In EA Sports FC 27, players will be able to create their own "Live Coach" challenges, including from their phone, and publish them, sharing them with friends.
