Role-playing action game Stupid Never Dies from Devil May Cry veterans to be released on October 21 - new trailer shown
GPTRACK50 studio showed new footage and revealed the composition of editions.
Publisher Sega and GPTRACK50 studio announced the release date of the role-playing slasher Stupid Never Dies. The game will be released on October 21, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. The project will feature English voice acting and Russian subtitles.
The new trailer is dedicated to Phoenix Zaza Hotfeathers — a mysterious creature that the main character will meet during his journey through the dungeon. The developers have not yet revealed whether the character will become an ally or an enemy of Davy.
The events of Stupid Never Dies will unfold in an otherworldly dungeon inhabited by monsters. The main character will be the timid zombie Davy, who occupies the lowest rung of the local social hierarchy. He will have to fight monsters, level up, and collect strange artifacts to resurrect the frozen girl Julia.
A key feature of the game will be the ability to steal enemy abilities. Davy will also be able to change his own body with whimsical upgrades and create various combinations from found items.
Stupid Never Dies will receive two editions. The standard version for $49.99 includes only the game, and the Glorious Idiot Edition for $59.99 includes the TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack add-on. It will include five modifiers that change the hero's appearance, hit and step sounds, visual effects, and musical accompaniment.
GPTRACK50 was founded by industry veterans who previously worked on Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, and other Capcom action games. Stupid Never Dies will be the studio's first project released with the support of Sega.
