American Truck Simulator creators showed gameplay with a 1967 Ford Mustang
The creators of the truck driver simulator American Truck Simulator have published a new dev diary dedicated to the creation of the Road Trip mode and the Ford Car Pack add-on. Players will be able to embark on a journey in Ford passenger cars and more.
SCS Software decided to conduct a small gameplay demonstration. The ATS developers published an 11-minute recording of a trip in a 1967 Ford Mustang model:
From its unmistakable fastback design to its powerful dynamics, the '67 Mustang embodies the spirit of American driving in a way few cars have. And where better to take this American legend for a spin than along the West Coast of the USA! We'll be heading from Modesto, California, to Yosemite National Park.
The developers of American Truck Simulator clarified that work is ongoing — what is shown in the video is not the final version. Sound and other mechanics will be refined.
The release date for the Road Trip mode with regular cars for American Truck Simulator has not yet been announced. You can add the Ford Car Pack and RAM & Dodge Car Pack add-ons to your Steam wishlist here and here.
