Valve introduced patch 7.41e and the "Summer Scrub" for the MOBA game Dota 2. The developers are preparing for The International: they fixed bugs, adjusted the balance, and also released an update with predictions, a fantasy league, support bundles for all sixteen participating teams, and over a hundred studio employees.

The creators of Dota 2 introduced an improved post-game analysis (Dota Plus) – now damage statistics will show exactly which abilities finished off enemy heroes. They also added a detailed breakdown of the contribution of items and abilities to damage – and how much enemies reduced it: "You will no longer wonder how an enemy escaped with one health, and in the next game, you will be able to kill them."

Some other changes and improvements:

  • Players will be able to set separate "hotkeys" for each non-hero unit.
  • Fixed a bug where bounty rune icons did not appear on the minimap until the forge.
  • Fixed a bug where teleportation scrolls were added to the stash if you died with zero scrolls in your inventory and one or more in the stash.
  • A bug was fixed that allowed Meepo to generate infinite gold with teleportation scrolls.
  • Fixed a bug where Morphling transforming into Alchemist allowed the Unstable Concoction Throw ability to be cast without cooldown.
  • Fixed a bug with Winter Wyvern where the duration of Winter's Curse sometimes exceeded the maximum.
  • Fixed a bug where it was possible to get stuck behind the second Radiant tower after teleporting.
  • Fixed a bug where a hero could not take teleportation scrolls from the stash if the slot for them was empty.
  • Fixed a bug where a reflected interruptible spell was not interrupted if the hero who reflected it died.
