Escape from Tarkov to get a Battle Pass - Kord Breach Season Trailer

Players will have to find special documents to get rewards.

Escape from Tarkov developers will soon add a seasonal system to the game and launch the first one called "Kord Breach".

Battlestate Games announced that Escape from Tarkov will get a Battle Pass. It will be available to players for free, and all rewards can be obtained through regular gameplay.

The Battle Pass will be available not only to PvP players but also in the PvE Zone. Progress and rewards obtained will be shared.

Progression is tied to finding special documents:

To progress through the Battle Pass, you will need to find TerraGroup documentation in raids. This is a new type of loot that works on the principle of quest items – meaning any player can pick it up, even if someone else has already done so. These items can be found in all modes when playing as PMC and Scav.

Different types of documents will spawn in various locations. Unlocking rewards in the Battle Pass is paid for with specific types of documentation. There will also be "secret data" – a universal resource that can replace any other documents when unlocking a reward in the pass.

Judging by the presented trailer, the Escape from Tarkov Battle Pass will include several sets of clothing and appearances for PMCs, a Hideout skin, and a target with Black Division.

The release date for the update with the first season in Escape from Tarkov has not yet been announced.
