Players can try out the new installment of the franchise before its release.

This summer, Behaviour Interactive Inc. and Devolver Digital announced the start of a new round of playtesting for Serious Sam: Shatterverse and invite players to get acquainted with the project.

In this co-op roguelike shooter, players will be able to take on the roles of different versions of Sam. The developers stated that the gameplay for each will differ:

Each Sam now has a unique set of modifiers that further influences how the gameplay feels for them. For example, Cartoon Sam might move a bit slower than other squad members due to his small legs, but his dash recharges faster, helping him escape difficult situations more quickly, and his explosions are more powerful.

The developers reviewed feedback from the previous playtest and balanced enemies, as well as adjusted the characteristics of various weapon models.

You can add Serious Sam: Shatterverse to your Steam wishlist by following this link. To participate in the playtest, you need to click the "Request Access" button — this version of the game weighs almost 7 GB.
