Dinoblade started strong on Steam. Over 83 thousand copies sold in the first week
The action-RPG Dinoblade by Team Spino sold over 83 thousand copies in its first week on Steam and received an "Very Positive" rating.
Developers from Team Spino reported that the action-RPG Dinoblade sold 83 thousand copies in its first week after release on Steam. The game was released on July 23 and sold 36 thousand copies in the first 24 hours. Before its release, the project accumulated over 600 thousand additions to Steam wishlists.
Dinoblade, created by animator Jean Nguyen and Team Spino, tells the story of a young Spinosaurus armed with a massive two-handed sword. After a catastrophe, the world changed, and dinosaurs began to fight each other using weapons, while a new threat of extinction looms over them.
The combat system includes combos, dodges, rolls, parries, upgradable skills, and various weapons. Players will explore locations from arid canyons to fog-shrouded jungles, where powerful alpha predators reside.
The authors also confirmed that they are preparing fixes and new updates, although they have not yet presented a detailed roadmap. Currently, Dinoblade has a "Very Positive" rating on Steam – 90% of authors recommend the game out of more than 1700 reviews.
