Elden Ring Fans Believe FromSoftware's Mysterious Post is a Teaser for a New DLC
Recently, FromSoftware studio intrigued Elden Ring fans. The developers published a short video on social media.
The 12-second gameplay footage shows a character riding through a location – the Siofra River. The video was captioned with a phrase that can be translated as: "Even in the perilous hunt for demigods, there are moments of quiet admiration." In a few days, it garnered almost 7 million views and numerous comments.
Many fans saw this publication by the developers as a hint for another Elden Ring DLC. For example, they could imagine content related to Godwyn the Golden – according to the lore, he is the son of Queen Marika the Eternal. This character is the first demigod to die.
Also, some community members took the opportunity to urge FromSoftware to return to Elden Ring Nightreign – the game has not received any DLCs or updates for a long time.
Currently, FromSoftware is working on The Duskbloods for the Nintendo Switch 2 console. The developers plan to conduct network testing of the game from August 21 to 23.
