Players will be able to evaluate the content before the full release.

Recently, the creator of the medieval city-building strategy game Manor Lords, Greg Styczeń, along with the Slavic Magic team, announced the start of beta testing for a major update.

With this update, players will have access to a new map, Wide Valley, a new version of the user interface with a redesigned look, and other content, such as drinks – cider and mead.

Some other new features and changes:

  • Players will be able to import cows and calves through the livestock trader – animals will provide passive milk production, and they can also be slaughtered for hides and beef.
  • A new field crop, oats, has appeared; it can be processed into animal feed.
  • A "hungry animals" mechanic has been added: grazing animals, such as cows, sheep, calves, and lambs, "starve" in winter and consume feed every month (or die if they don't receive it).
  • Grazing animals will reproduce depending on the season and herd size.
  • A "seasonal products" mechanic has appeared: for example, sheep can only be shorn once a year – in summer. Cows will be allowed to be milked monthly, but not in winter.
  • Cheese can be made (milk + salt).

The full description of the beta update "0.8.090–0.8.097" for Manor Lords is available at the following link.
