On August 4, Beast of Reincarnation was released, a new project from the craftsmen at Game Freak, known for their Pokemon games. The studio decided to make something other than a game about monsters in balls, but it didn't work out.

The game's story unfolds in post-apocalyptic Japan. Humanity's last hope is Emma, an outcast due to her illness, and the aging dog Ku. Together, they embark on a difficult journey, which this action-style role-playing game for one player and one dog tells.
