The developers of Cinder City have announced a closed pre-alpha playtest. The testing will take place from August 14 to 16, and only players residing in the USA will be able to participate in the first phase.

Those interested can already apply to participate. Users over 16 years old are eligible for registration, and invitations to selected participants will begin to be sent out on August 12. The developers warn that the testing is subject to a non-disclosure agreement, so sharing details of the gameplay before the restrictions are lifted will be prohibited.

Along with the announcement, the authors also stated that they plan to conduct additional playtests for players from other regions in the future.

The events of Cinder City unfold in a grim dystopian open world, inspired by the real streets of Seoul and other famous landmarks of South Korea. According to the plot, the city has fallen under the control of the powerful criminal organization Hyde.

Players will take on the role of a Knight named Cinder, who, with the help of futuristic technologies, sets out to find his missing daughter. The hero will encounter numerous dangerous opponents, and the core of the gameplay will be dynamic gunfights and exploration of the ruined metropolis.
