Pre-order for "Mythologies" to open in Russia next week: a board game about gods and creatures from legends

Soon, residents of Russia will be able to purchase the board card game "Mythologies," in which gamers will summon deities and wondrous creatures to their pantheon. Pre-order customers will also have a chance to receive promo cards as a gift.

The publisher 4ies (4Games) announced that its next pre-order will be the project "Mythologies." This is a board card game for 2-4 players, in which participants will try to earn as much divine favor (victory points) as possible over four rounds by summoning deities and creatures to their pantheon.

The authors have incorporated eight mythologies into the game – boxes, each presenting its own set of deities and creatures: here Incas, there Egyptians, and here Scandinavians, and so on. Players choose only four of these for a game, meaning there are a total of 70 unique starting layouts.

In addition, the game also features challenges – two conditions that are formed depending on the chosen mythologies, for the completion of which points can be earned. According to the developers' calculations, there are as many as 840 variants of such challenges.

A game of "Mythologies" lasts from 20 to 40 minutes. The pre-order is expected to open next week – August 10-16, and prices should be announced this week.

Those who support the publisher with a pre-order will be able to receive foil promo cards of deities as a gift. These will not be ordinary, but foil cards.

These promo cards are not just beautiful shiny copies of the cards available in the base box, but possess unique and quite powerful new gameplay properties.
