"Kathmandu" to be released in Russia - a board game journey through the mountains to the capital of Nepal

Users in Russia will also be able to experience "Kathmandu" - a board game journey with a modular board and high replayability, combining dice management, yak route selection, and a difficult choice: immediate gain or long-term planning.

The publishing house “Evrikus” announced the start of work on “Kathmandu” – the eighth board game in the “Stefan Feld City Collection” series.

In this project, 2–4 users will embark on an expedition through Nepal and guide their yak through valleys, forests, cities, and temples to the legendary Kathmandu. But the path will not be easy: a storm is approaching, resources are limited, and every move requires precise planning.

In each round, players use three out of five dice to gather resources, move across the map, visit temples, trade in cities, and discover the amazing wildlife of Nepal.

Careful planning, effective use of actions, and a bit of luck will help players outrun their rivals and be the first to reach the capital. The winner will be the one who scores the most victory points during a 60–75 minute game.

Currently, Evrikus is working on the game's layout, and the print run of “Kathmandu” is expected early next year.
