A developer under the nickname "slvr99_spyro" recently completed the remake of the "Monkey Monastery" world from Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly — the fourth game in the franchise, which was released in the early 2000s on PlayStation 2 and GameCube consoles.
Many years later, players will be able to play Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly on PC. The slvr99_spyro project is being developed using the Unity engine.

The developer of the Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly remake plans to release a public demo version of their project on September 21, 2026. This version of the game will include not only the Monkey Monastery world, but also the Rainbow Speedway track, and players will also be able to try out the Peaceful Ice Slider mini-game.
