Russian Factorio with cats to enter the Chinese market - the game was noticed by a major publisher
In early August, Smola Game Studio reminded players about the game "MurZavod" (or MeowFactory in its English localization). The developers announced that the project has found a publisher – for the first time in the team's history.
The creators of "MurZavod" explained that Gamirror Games will undertake "the most powerful promotion of cats" in the Asian market:
Gamirror Games is the publisher of such TRENDY games as Dyson Sphere Program, Shapez 2 Factory, TableTop Tavern, Alchemy Factory, and a bunch of other cool games. Cats are bursting into China and Japan on all fours!
The authors also prepared new key art: "We already wrote about it earlier, but look again, how cool it is."
The "MurZavod" page on Steam is available at the following link. Smola Game Studio has not yet announced the exact release date for the game, but the release window is known – the game is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Meanwhile, the developers offer players an updated demo version of "MurZavod":
We've brought bug fixes (fixed a bunch of annoying bugs, including orders disappearing after 10+ days), some new content, and now you can mirror machines.
