Gothic 1 Remake will get alternative progression and new modes, while Gothic II and III will be released on consoles

Alkimia Interactive and THQ Nordic have released a new trailer for Gothic 1 Remake. The developers thanked the community for their support and shared their future plans.

The creators of the first Gothic remake will continue to release updates with bug fixes, and also plan to further improve the game. Several major updates are planned, including new features – a full-fledged photo mode will be added to the game, a special "Marvin-mode" (access to various cheat commands for game control will be opened).

They also mentioned "modes with alternative progression mechanics" (without details yet) and announced support for user modifications.

In addition, Alkimia Interactive and THQ Nordic presented a trailer for the classic parts of Gothic – Gothic II and Gothic 3 are intended to be released on consoles.

The release of Gothic II Complete Classic is scheduled for September 29, 2026, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S consoles.

The release date for Gothic 3 Classic is November 24, 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2.
