Recently, Visual Concepts studio and publisher 2K decided to remind gamers about NBA 2K26. They launched a promotion on PC via Steam, allowing users to try the basketball simulator for free.

The developers use a special animation technology that converts moments from recordings of real NBA matches into movements of virtual versions of basketball players — the game features thousands of authentic animations.

Players in NBA 2K26 can take on the role of a general manager and lead an NBA franchise in "MyNBA":

Choose from all 30 teams, experience 30 unique MyGM storylines based on real events, and work towards the ultimate goal — winning the championship. Influence the future of basketball and leave an indelible mark on league history.
