A fresh discovery by fans has once again brought attention to the mysterious project from the creators of Hollow Knight.

Fearless Fox from the creators of Hollow Knight has made itself known again. Team Cherry's trademark application passed examination in Canada and appeared in the latest issue of the state trademark journal on August 5.

The document was noticed by Reddit user TomNook5085. The owner of the Fearless Fox trademark in application number 2,269,008 is listed as Australian Team Cherry Pty Ltd. The list of goods includes class nine, which covers computer games, downloadable game software, and related digital materials.

The name Fearless Fox has been known for several years. Team Cherry first filed a trademark application in Australia in 2019, also listing computer game software among the categories. In January 2023, the studio expanded the legal protection of the brand to include toys, entertainment services, and software development.

Over the years, the creators of Hollow Knight have not explained what lies behind the name Fearless Fox. Fans speculate that it could be Team Cherry's next game, which the studio will move on to develop after completing support for Hollow Knight: Silksong. For now, the developers continue to work on Silksong: this year, a marine expansion called Sea of Sorrow is planned for the game, which does not yet have a precise release date.
