The creators of "Romelia's Military Chronicle" have unveiled the first trailer and announced that the anime will begin airing in October 2026.
The story follows Romelia, who, along with Prince Henri and his squad, defeats the Demon King Zelgis. However, after the triumph, the prince declares the girl a burden. Romelia did not participate directly in the battles, so she is stripped of her place among the victors, and Henri breaks off their engagement. Her return home also brings no recognition – her family greets her with cold indifference.
Meanwhile, the victory over the Demon King does not bring the long-awaited peace to the country. The state lies in ruins, the economy is destroyed, and old threats are replaced by new ones. Romelia decides to rectify the situation herself, gathers her own army, undertakes economic recovery, and gradually becomes entangled in political intrigues.
The series is being produced by Studio Atra. Hiroshi Shirai is directing, Aya Satsuki is writing the script, and Yoshiko Saito and Yuta Otaka are responsible for character design. The music is composed by Kota Yamamoto, who worked on "Attack on Titan" and "The Kingdom of Ruin."
The exact premiere date has not yet been announced. Crunchyroll will be responsible for the international broadcast of "Romelia's Military Chronicle."
