A married couple released an incremental game demo in the spirit of Diablo and received 98% positive reviews on Steam

Static Feed, a studio consisting of a married couple, released a demo version of the Horde of Distraction project on PC via Steam earlier this year. Now they have decided to summarize the interim results.

Happy_Amoeba_ reported that Happy_Amoeba_ attracted more than 27 thousand players. Some of them left reviews for the demo, 98% of which were positive, and the project's creators "cannot believe" such a result.

Horde of Distraction is positioned as an incremental game inspired by classic RPGs. Among the sources of inspiration, the well-known ARPG franchise Diablo is noted, and its influence is visible in the game's visual design.

The player simply needs to hover the cursor over enemies or environmental elements — damage will be dealt automatically. The gold obtained can be used to purchase characteristic upgrades in the skill tree. Monsters drop equipment of various rarities, which affects the character's characteristics. There will be not only battles with ordinary mobs but also full-fledged boss battles.
