Enthusiast ported Portal 2 to browser - Valve puzzle works without third-party launchers

Recently, an enthusiast under the nickname slqntdevs reminded players about Portal 2. He created a browser version of Valve's cult puzzle game. Now the game can be played on different devices — without downloading the distribution and without additional launchers. To create this project, slqntdevs used the Emscripten compiler.

The author of the YouTube channel Swazzy tested the browser version of Portal 2:

From a gameplay perspective, nothing changes — this is the classic Portal 2: players will return to the Aperture Science laboratories and meet GLaDOS again. They will have to solve various puzzles using the portal gun. You can play in “single-player mode” and experiment with game settings.

The developer under the nickname "Pyatdesyat Chetvertyy" also reminded that earlier slqnt presented similar browser versions for games such as Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. The enthusiast's next project should be a browser version of the popular sandbox game Gary's Mod.
