Charlie Cox confirmed that he will not appear in the film "Avengers: Secret Wars". The actor who plays Daredevil spoke about this during MCM Comic Con Birmingham, where he performed alongside Deborah Ann Woll.
One of the attendees asked the actor if Matt Murdock would join other heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Cox gave an unequivocal answer:
"No, I won't be in it. Sorry. And now you can believe me."
The last phrase refers to rumors surrounding the film "Spider-Man: No Way Home". Before the premiere, Cox repeatedly denied his involvement, but fans believed that the actor was simply trying to keep the cameo a secret. Expectations were heightened by the participation of Jon Bernthal, who returned to the role of the Punisher, so many hoped to see Daredevil in the film until the very end.
"Avengers: Secret Wars" is scheduled to premiere on December 17, 2027. Marvel Studios has not yet revealed the full cast of the film.
