THQ Nordic Showcases Mobile Version of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed - Gameplay Trailer Released

Warren Spector's platformer remake is coming soon to mobile devices.

THQ Nordic Mobile has officially unveiled the mobile version of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed and released the first trailer featuring gameplay footage and a revamped interface adapted for touchscreens.

Snapshot Games is responsible for the mobile optimization of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed. The developers promise to bring the full single-player campaign to smartphones without cuts. In the story, Mickey Mouse finds himself in the Wasteland — a world of forgotten Disney characters ruled by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Using paint, the hero can restore destroyed objects and create new paths, while thinner allows him to erase parts of the environment and find hidden passages. The choice of tool affects puzzle solving, character relationships, and story development.

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a remake of the 2010 platformer Disney Epic Mickey, created by Junction Point studio under the direction of Deus Ex creator Warren Spector. The updated version was developed by Purple Lamp: it features reworked graphics, improved controls, and new movements for Mickey.

The release of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed on Google Play and the App Store is scheduled for September 16, 2026. The game will be distributed under a premium model — the full version will be available for purchase for 700 rubles.
