Rockstar Games has been developing Grand Theft Auto VI for many years. The release date has been changed several times, and some risk not making it to November of this year.

Recently, the gaming community noticed the story of TikTok blogger Void Only. He spoke about his severe illness, and his phrase "I just want to play GTA VI... God, Rockstar and their delays" went viral. The video garnered several million views in a couple of days.

Void Only said that his condition has worsened – he needs a lung transplant:

Well, this day was inevitable. I'm at my limit. My lungs are no longer coping. So I will be in intensive care until I get a transplant. However, my situation is very unusual. My lungs are attached to my chest wall, so during the operation, they will literally have to be torn from the chest wall – physically separated, then removed and replaced with new ones. The operation will be very bloody and dangerous. This is an extremely unique case.

His family organized a fundraiser, and members of the GTA VI community united – they donated over $50,000 for his operation and rehabilitation.

According to Void Only, doctors believe he will survive the operation – and he hopes that will be the case, but he is still worried:

Doctors believe I will survive the operation, and I hope that will be the case. However, I am a very religious person, so even if I don't make it – the place I go will be beautiful.

The release of GTA VI is expected in November of this year, and a presentation on Netflix should take place at the end of August.
