A new photo of Sebastian Stan with a completely shaved head has appeared online. The picture once again sparked discussion about the actor's alleged role in the film "Batman. Part 2."
Stan was initially rumored to play Harvey Dent. However, in June, insider Jeff Sneider reported that the actor would play serial killer Victor Zsasz, while the role of the future Two-Face went to Brian Tyree Henry.
For now, the information should be considered a rumor. Warner Bros. has not revealed the roles of the new cast members. The studio has only confirmed the return of Robert Pattinson, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Jamie Lawson, and Gil Perez-Abraham to their familiar roles.
In addition, Stan originally shaved his head for a role in the thriller "Fjord," and a short haircut might have been necessary for applying complex makeup, so the new photo itself does not confirm Zsasz's appearance.
Stan himself recently said that he is preparing for a mysterious role by studying the character's past, environment, and motives:
"Regardless of whether it's a real person or a fictional character, you always have to do research. All these characters have a reason why they ended up where they are. Finding that reason has the strongest impact on the performance of the role."
Filming for "Batman. Part 2" is already underway. Along with Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Charles Dance, Sebastian Koch, and Brian Tyree Henry have joined the cast. The premiere is scheduled for February 18, 2028.
