Insider Alex Perez reported that viewers might see the version of Hulk from "Thor: Ragnarok" again in "Avengers: Secret Wars." When asked by a subscriber if the Russo brothers would bring back Savage Hulk, Perez replied:
"Remember the Hulk we saw in 'Thor: Ragnarok'? That's the Hulk you're getting."
In the third Thor film, Bruce Banner spent two years on Sakaar as the Hulk. During this time, his alter ego learned to speak, developed its own personality, and became a famous gladiator.
Subsequently, Banner managed to merge the two personalities and transform into Smart Hulk, who appeared in "Avengers: Endgame" and the "She-Hulk" series. How the creators will explain the return to this version of Hulk, if Perez's information is confirmed, is currently unknown.
"Avengers: Secret Wars" is set to premiere on December 17, 2027. Before that, brothers Anthony and Joe Russo will release "Avengers: Doctor Doom," which will be released on December 18, 2026.
