Insider James Mac reported that the Defenders will be given a significant role in the film "Avengers: Secret Wars". The source did not disclose additional details about the team's involvement, but if the previously leaked script for "Avengers: Doctor Doom" turns out to be authentic, the appearance of the Defenders seems quite logical.
The Defenders from the Netflix series included Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones).
In 2017, the heroes united to fight the Hand in the miniseries "The Defenders", and in 2027, they will reunite in the third season of "Daredevil: Born Again". It will be released before "Secret Wars", which premieres on December 17, 2027.
