Disney has officially confirmed a special panel dedicated to the Kingdom Hearts series as part of the upcoming D23 event. The presentation will take place on August 15 at 11:30 PM Moscow time.
Previously, profiles of Kingdom Hearts 4 game director Tai Yasue, as well as actors Haley Joel Osment, who voices Sora and Vanitas, and David Gallagher, who plays Riku, were found in the D23 app. Now Disney has confirmed the panel itself.
However, the company has not yet revealed what the presentation will be dedicated to – a new game or the Kingdom Hearts franchise as a whole.
Nevertheless, the appearance of Kingdom Hearts 4 representatives ahead of the panel looks promising. This year, Square Enix has already presented a new trailer for the game, so fans are expecting additional details about the project.
Kingdom Hearts 4 is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The release date has not yet been announced. Earlier rumors suggested a possible release in 2027, but store pages that mentioned this date later removed the corresponding dates.
