After 3 years, players found a "subtitle" for TES VI in the Starfield presentation - a Bethesda veteran reacted to the theories

Recently, players once again recalled an old Starfield presentation — the reason for this was a message from the head of Xbox about The Elder Scrolls VI.

Asha Sharma previously shared that she was able to see the new TES installment being played. At the time, she added a piece with asterisks to the game's title: "TES VI: ********". Many fans assumed that she was hinting at the length of the subtitle and began to build theories.

One of the most popular options was Sentinel — this is the name of the Redguard city in The Elder Scrolls universe. Supporters of this theory found an argument thanks to the discovery of user starfieldnovember — he noticed a digital code in a Starfield presentation from six years ago and in the game itself.

According to him, if you divide the set of numbers into pairs and match them with letters of the alphabet, you get "sentinel":

On Starfield Direct and in the final version of the game during character creation, you can see your number. At first glance, it's a random sequence of numbers, but if you divide it into pairs and match each pair with the corresponding letter of the alphabet, you get the word SENTINEL. This clue was right under our noses for more than three years, and somehow we didn't notice it.

In addition, supporters of the theory about the title The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel have another argument. A Bethesda veteran joined one of the discussions and responded to the comment "sentinel" with a short "yes". Michael Kirkbride previously worked on TES IV: Oblivion and TES V: Skyrim.
