Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Beta Will Let Players Try Campaign, Multiplayer, and Warzone for the First Time

News 0

Infinity Ward is preparing an unusually large-scale beta test for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. For the first time in the series' history, players will be offered the chance to test several key components of the new game at once — the single-player campaign, classic multiplayer, and Call of Duty: Warzone.

More details will be revealed at the Call of Duty NEXT event.

The main feature will be the opportunity to try a fragment of the single-player campaign before release for the first time. Players will be given a special mission called "Entrenched," marking the first time in Call of Duty history that a part of the story campaign will be officially included in a beta test.

The traditional multiplayer mode will also be available. Over two beta weekends, the developers will prepare seven maps, and the list of available modes will include Team Deathmatch, Domination, Search & Destroy, and 3v3 Gunfight. Additionally, Inflation and Mobility Course will appear in the testing, and the playlist lineup will change from one week to the next.

Another historic event will be the first beta test of Call of Duty: Warzone. Participants will be able to try out the new Zodiac Resurgence map, which developers have previously hinted at.

Infinity Ward will pay special attention to the Kill Block map. The studio considers it one of the most innovative maps in the franchise's history, so the upcoming beta will be the community's first full chance to see if it lives up to such high expectations.
