Lucasfilm and The LEGO Group have unveiled the first trailer for the animated special "LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian." The premiere is set for September 2, 2026, on Disney+.
The project will humorously retell the key events of all three seasons of "The Mandalorian" and help refresh them in memory before watching "The Mandalorian & Grogu" film, which will appear on the streaming service on the same day.
Many actors from the original series returned for voice acting, including Amy Sedaris, Bill Burr, Katee Sackhoff, Giancarlo Esposito, and Rosario Dawson. The main character was an exception: instead of Pedro Pascal, Din Djarin was voiced by Gavin Hammon.
Chris Buckley directed "LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian," and Michael Price wrote the screenplay. D23 attendees will be able to see the special earlier than others – a preview screening will take place on August 15.
