Tactical Roguelike with D&D Elements Released on Steam, Receiving Very Positive Reviews

News

The developers plan to expand Lootbound and add content.

In August, ArtDock studio and publisher Dreland Enterprises released the project Lootbound on PC via Steam. The authors position the novelty as a tactical roguelite game featuring loot management, turn-based combat, and D&D elements.

In each run of Lootbound, players will start alone, and as they advance through the map, they will be able to meet companions who will help in difficult battles. It is necessary to select equipment for the hero and his companions, but items do not have fixed slots — they can be “rotated and placed in the inventory as long as there is free space.” Items can influence each other, so with proper inventory organization, players can gain additional benefits.

Some rewards in Lootbound cannot be obtained easily — you have to roll a d20 die: “In special rooms, you are offered several options with different difficulties. The more valuable the reward, the harder it is to get it with a die roll.”

The developers published a roadmap and addressed players in Russian (but did not localize the image itself) — plans include new content, battles, enemies, heroes, lore expansion, and more:

For us, release does not mean the end of development. On the contrary, now begins the next stage of Lootbound. We already have several post-release updates in the works, and we will continue to develop the game with you.
