The seventh character trailer for "Sekiro: No Defeat" has been released on the KADOKAWAanime YouTube channel. This time, the video is dedicated to Owl – the adoptive father and mentor of Wolf.
Owl found the orphaned boy on the battlefield, named him Wolf, and raised him as a shinobi. The mentor instilled in him the Iron Code, according to which a father is above a son, and a lord is above one's own life, and then ordered him to serve the Divine Heir Kuro. By the beginning of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Owl is presumed dead after the attack on Hirata Estate, but later his fate and true intentions become an important part of the game's plot.
The character is once again voiced by Takaya Hashi, who performed this role in the FromSoftware game. Previously, character trailers were released for Wolf, Kuro, Genichiro Ashina, Emma, the Sculptor, and Hanbei the Undying.
The production of "Sekiro: No Defeat" is handled by Qzil.la studio. Ken'ichi Kutsuna is the director, Takuya Sato wrote the script, and Takashi Mukoda is in charge of the fight choreography.
The anime's theatrical release in Japan will begin on September 4, 2026, and will last for three weeks. Later, "Sekiro: No Defeat" will appear on Crunchyroll in most countries worldwide, but the digital premiere date has not yet been announced.
