Marvel showed the first footage from the second season of "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" to attendees of the D23 festival. The video was not officially released, but a recording of it leaked online shortly after the presentation.
In the new footage, Peter Parker encounters the symbiote for the first time, which will be dedicated to a separate storyline. Spider-Man also fights Lizard, Rhino, and other villains, while his allies include Gwen Stacy, Daredevil, and Finesse (Jeanne Foucault).
Along with the new footage, Marvel clarified the release schedule for the continuation. Previously, the second season was expected in the fall of 2026, but now the premiere is scheduled for January 2027. The exact date has not yet been announced. The third season is already in development.
