Marvel Schedule Reveals When "Ghost Rider" with Ryan Gosling Will Be Released

Shawn Levy's film will be released between the new "X-Men" and "Black Panther 3".

"Ghost Rider" starring Ryan Gosling will be released on July 28, 2028. Marvel Studios has not yet announced the date separately, but the updated cinematic universe schedule points to it.

Variety noted that Disney had previously reserved three dates in 2028 for Marvel films: May 5, July 28, and December 15. After the D23 presentation, it became known that the new "X-Men" will be released on May 5, and the studio scheduled "Black Panther 3" for December 15. Thus, the only free date left for "Ghost Rider" is July 28.

Ryan Gosling will play the lead role in "Ghost Rider", and the director of "Deadpool & Wolverine", Shawn Levy, will direct. Jonathan Tropper is writing the screenplay. Filming is planned to begin in 2027.
